The Segments screen is used to group and organize customer data based on specific conditions. These groups are then utilized within the Campaigns screen to target particular audiences.
1. Creating a Segment

Step 1: Open the Segment menu → Click on the New button.

Step 2: A new Segment form will appear. Enter the necessary details and click Save to store the information, or click Back to cancel and return to the previous screen.
Tabs & Field Details:

Details Tab:

Name: Define the name of the Segment.

Category: Select a category for the Segment. This is used for grouping and is populated from the Category screen.

Public Segment: If this is enabled, the Segment can be selected and used within the Campaign screen.

Filters Tab:

Specify the filtering rules to define which Leads are included in the Segment.

2. Viewing a Segment

Step 1: Navigate to the Segments screen → Click on the View button for the Segment you want to inspect.

Step 2: A detailed view of the selected Segment will appear.
Tabs & Key Information:

Statistics Tab:
-
Total Number of Leads: Displays the current count of Leads in the Segment.

Number of Active Campaigns: Shows how many valid Campaigns are actively using this Segment.

Number of Campaigns Participated: Indicates the number of Campaigns that have used this Segment but are no longer active.

Leads in Time Chart: Visualizes how Leads are added or removed over time during Campaign execution.
Note: If a Campaign uses the “Change Segment” action and both Segments belong to different Categories, the Lead is added to the new Segment while still remaining in the old one. If the Categories match, the Lead is fully transferred to the new Segment.

Segment Stats by Campaign Chart: Displays how many Segments are linked to each Campaign, based on Campaigns using the current Segment.

Leads Tab:

Lists all Leads currently part of the Segment.

3. Editing a Segment

Step 1: From the Segments screen, choose the Edit option for the Segment you want to modify.

Step 2: The editing screen will open. Make any necessary changes and click Save, or click Back to cancel.
4. Deleting a Segment

Go to the Segments screen → Select the Segment you want to remove → Click the Delete function for that record.
