Points Overview

To evaluate customer engagement with brand products, Points are assigned to each contact based on specific actions. These points help measure interest and interaction.

The information collected on this screen is later used within the Campaign screen. After a campaign is executed, each Lead's total score is reflected in the Point field found in the relevant Lead tab.


1. Creating a Point Action

  • Step 1: Go to the Points menu → Click on the Add button.

  • Step 2: The Point Action creation screen will appear. Fill in the required details and choose Save to complete the process, or Back to cancel and return.

Field Descriptions:

  • Name: Enter the title of the point-related action.

  • Category: Select a category from the Category settings, filtered by the Point action type.

  • Change points (+/-): Define whether the action adds or subtracts points. The number will vary based on the selected action from the When a contact… dropdown.

  • Published: Set to Yes if this Point should be available for selection in the Campaign screen.

  • Add point by country: If enabled, allows defining separate point values for each country. For countries without a custom setting, the default Change points value will apply.

  • Description: Provide detailed information about the action and its purpose.


2. Viewing a Point

  • Step 1: Open the Points menu → Click View for the action you wish to inspect.

  • Step 2: The system displays all related information for the selected Point action.

Tabs & Metrics:

  • Chart Statistics Tab:

    • Point Action Over Time: Graph showing how many leads earned points for this action by date.

    • Point Action Stats by Campaign: Displays the number of campaigns using this specific Point action.

  • Leads Tab:

    • Lists Leads associated with this Point action.

    • The Point column shows each Lead's current total points (combined from action points and change points) after the campaign has been executed.


3. Editing a Point Action

  • Step 1: In the Points screen, click Edit for the Point action you want to modify.

  • Step 2: The screen will display current details. Make your changes, then click Save or select Back to cancel.


4. Deleting a Point Action

  • Go to the Points screen → Find the desired Point action → Click Delete to remove it.
